Last shout out for the bag sale: ends tomorrow. Some fantastic bargains still to be had.

There’s not that many bags left, so we’re ending the bag sale this week. All the bags are half-price — so grab your favourite bag while you can!
Unlike a lot of the giant high street stores — who have massive warehouses crammed with old stock they want to shift (and, admittedly, some hefty overheads) — we here at Larkin & Catcher are not going down the MEGA SALE/SALE TO END ALL SALES/EVERYTHING MUST GO! route. That ‘route’ is the road to disaster for the customer and retailer alike, as far as we’re concerned. Eventually, yet more stores will close, more people will lose their jobs, choice and variety will be lost and all that will be available to buy (for most people — apart from the super rich) will be a load of generic tat. So, we’re not jumping on the MASSIVE SALE bandwagon.
We’ve got an Archive section with all items at 60% off and there’s also a Special on until the end of January, with some decent discounts off a variety of this years items. These are genuine items from our stock and not items bought in for the purpose of putting it On Sale.
There, it had to be said. We feel so much better now.
No more of the Retro Munich bags left but there’s still some of the Retro Tokyo Olympics bags and the Retro Moscow Olympics bags in stock.
If you are hoping to buy one of the retro Olympics bags as a Christmas gift, now is the time to do it, as some of them are now limited stock. Our cut-off date for Christmas orders in the Larkin & Catcher store is Thursday 18th December (United Kingdom only). Orders placed early on Friday 19th December will most likely also catch the post in time for Christmas but we are still playing safe, rather than disappoint anyone with a last minute rush.
Munich Retro Olympics Bag – very short supply!
We’ve now got the delectable Hell’s Belles House Call bag back in stock — this time it’s in classic black but with the same ‘ponyskin’ trim — just gorgeous.
The elegant-with-twist Hell’s Belles Elixir handbag is also back — but it’s pretty much guaranteed that they won’t be here for long.
Hell’s Belles Finishing School for Girls House Call bag.
Hell’s Belles Finishing School for Girls Elixir Handbag
For fans of Hell’s Belles bags (you’re in very good company) — you may have noticed that there are not many Hell’s Belles bags left in the Larkin & Catcher store. But the good news is that there should be another shipment before Christmas — so watch this space for updates!
Also — there’s not many Nookart products left now and as Nookart are not making any more (apart from decals, etc) now is the time to buy the last few remaining items while you can.
We know there is a growing army of fans for the fabulous retro-style bags from Hell’s Belles Finishing School for Girls but as the bags are made in limited quantities they’re not that easy to get hold of. We’ve now only a limited number of the bags left in a few styles and we’re not sure yet if we’ll be getting them back in stock in time for Christmas posting. Here’s the ones we still have:
The Hell’s Belles Black Mambo Bag
The Hell’s Belles Black Liquorice Backseat Bag
The Hell’s Belles Hell Kitten Handbag A gorgeous little leopard print bag, with a strong rockabilly retro look — in very short supply.
The Hell’s Belles Fifi Pocketbook (not as big as a clutch — more of a large purse).
The La Cucaracha Pouchette (again, this is not a clutch — more of an extra large coin purse that is just big enough to hold a lipstick, a bit of cash and maybe a little pocket mirror). We personally love this one but it’s not for everyone as it is pretty unusual — that’s an cockroach applique on the front. But the pouchette features the kind of quality, tongue-in-cheek design detail that the Headmistress does so well. Hell’s Belles bags are never boring and are anything but ordinary.
These really cool little bags are now back in the store. Astro Boy, the ‘Mighty Atom’ was from the original Japanese anime television series of the 1960’s and was one of the first examples of anime. The bags have a quirky retro look about them and are in a lovely cream-coloured faux leather.
