The thing about moving around a lot is that it’s easy to lose or misplace things. We never lose items which are actually in the store but sometimes things which were meant to go there get put aside until we have time to photograph and list them — then they ‘vanish’ for a little while and eventually turn up months or even a year later. It’s like finding an unexpected little gift.
We found a little box this week, with a bunch of little things inside:
We think some of these will make it in the store

We like this red heart ring. There’s lots of little plastic rings in the shops just now but we think this is an especially nice one.

This black frog lighter is by Masai. It’s Japanese and we think from the 1950’s. It needs a bit of a clean and we haven’t tried to fill it with fuel yet, so we don’t nkow if it works. There’s a good weight to it — and we particularly like its little sparkly orange eyes.

This brooch looks like celluloid and we think it is is from the 1930’s.
We didn’t have enough time to photograph anything else — life is moving too fast just now.

The Little Sister necklace;

The perfect jewellery gift for a sister (a grown-up ‘little sister’ though — as small parts means this necklace is not suitable for children).

Every one of our new pieces of jewellery is our ‘new favourite’ but we really do love this one:

The good news is the Blue Rabbit Cute Bracelet is back. The bad news is that is won’t be for long.

Back to the shop.
Some ultra cute jewellery in store from Strange Garden. This adorable and immensely cute bracelet, featuring a fat blue rabbit surrounded by pink and creamy white pearls.

So we finally get some sun here in the UK but it’s a bit of a shock to the system. We wanted it but now we’ve got it some of us don’t know how to handle it. It’s fine if all you have to do is lounge around but having to work in the sweltering heat can lead a girl to feel just a tad whacked.
Shopping is nearly always fun but who wants to drag their body around the shops searching for gifts when the temperature is finally soaring. This is when online shopping is at its best — just a few minutes online and you can arrange for your gifts to be delivered to your door in a day or so. And don’t forget the MEME coupon code for your nice little discount!
Just a reminder to use your coupon code MEME at checkout this week to get your 10% discount in the store.
